The content, intended use and your requirements guide that discussion. Any proposed tool use and review work should be confirmed as part of the project scope. Tell us about restrictions or sensitive material before sharing working files.
You can prepare an enquiry with the expected content types, volume and schedule. A representative sample can help define the scope later. The working source version and any subsequent changes should be agreed before production begins.
A clear brief makes it easier to discuss scope before production begins. You do not need every file on day one, but the audience, purpose and working source should be clear.
